Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation: BMGF has been partnering with RGMVP since 2012 for a variety of interventions. It has funded the Uttar Pradesh Community Mobilisation Project (UPCMP), which enabled RGMVP to scale-up health interventions in 100 blocks. Additionally, the partnership supports institution building and capacity building in another 100 blocks. BMGF is also RGMVP's partner on the implementation of its Sanitation and Gender pilot initiative, which is carried out in select villages of Amethi and Sultanpur districts. At the conclusion of this pilot initiative in July 2015, we are rapidly scaling up the intervention to reach a larger number of SHG members on safe sanitation practices. RIST provides support to ensure the community institution pipeline is widespread and capable of disseminating the information and training that make up RGMVP's holistic empowerment strategy. RIST has long-term commitment to support RGMVP in this capacity until 2021.

RIST has extended its support to IGEHRC for setting up a super speciality eye hospital in Gurgaon, Haryana. The proposed hospital would provide highly subsidized eye care services to poor people in 13 districts in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan by establishing outreach through Rural Eye Camps and bringing to the hospital patients needing surgeries and would also cater to walk-in patients from Delhi NCR. The hospital would serve as a referral facility for entire North India and conduct research and specialised training of eye care professionals.

RIST has also helped set up new facilities such as Lasik and other advanced corneal treatment at the IGEHRC hospitals (Lucknow and Amethi) for enhancing the quality and range of patient care.
